The alarm's printed circuit board is directly underneath the lock barrel, so keeping dirt and moisture out is important for the life of your alarm module.

This flexible part is manufactured in a durable TPU (polyurethane) and precisely sized to provide a reliable seal on the alarm case.

The loop is a perfect fit on the original harness boot so run the alarm harness through the loop for a tidy solution that won't disappear the first time you take it off to use the lock - but remember to switch the alarm off before unplugging the wiring loom from the alarm!
