T-Series Floormat Patch

An accurate reproduction of the patches that Tickford used. I wouldn't expect the velvet to be any more durable than the velvet that Tickford chose, but they are a very nice touch.

A carpet needle and some waxed cotton thread is all you need to fit them. Perhaps some double-sided carpet tape to hold them in place while you sew them on. I like to place a single stitch in four places before then working around the patch. If you stitch too tight they will bunch up, but you'll soon get the hang of it.

For those who don't have a sample front mat, the outside and lower edge of the patch should be 55mm and 130mm from the edge of the mat, respectively.
