AU front guard moulding

Sometimes referred to as 'spats', these reproduction parts are produced in-house using ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) which offers extraordinary UV resistance along with ABS like impact and abrasion resistance. ASA also offers a significantly higher deflection temperature than ABS.

Equivalent to Ford part numbers AU16168A and AU16169A. They were fitted to all AU's delivered with 17" or 18" wheels.

Each pair takes 8 hours to manufacture then another 12 hours of annealing at 85°C to ensure that the quoted mechanical properties are realised.

Like the OEM part, our design has a finely textured surface with the outer edge painstakingly hand finished to achieve the same smooth finish as the original items.

• two plastic push rivets and a small clamp are included to help hold the mouldings in position during installation
